Who is responsible for your information?

Luniro is operated by NS PET MEDICAL LIMITED, which is responsible for personal information used to operate this website and fulfil our orders and services. Contact us at info@luniro.ie or write to: 106 Lagan Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 11, Dublin, D11 TX99, Ireland. This notice covers luniro.ie, enquiries, purchases and related Home Care administration.

Information we use and why

  • Purchases and accounts: your name, contact details, delivery and billing addresses, account details, items ordered, payment status and order history. We use these to manage your account, process and deliver purchases, communicate about orders and handle returns. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and performing that contract. Information required for an order or service must be supplied for us to fulfil it.
  • Home Care enquiries and bookings: contact and service addresses, pet details, requested visits, care instructions and relevant service records you provide. We use these to assess requests, arrange and provide agreed services and respond to issues, on the basis of taking steps towards or performing a contract. Please do not include unnecessary information about other people, human medical details, passwords or payment-card details in enquiry forms.
  • Support and correspondence: messages and the information you choose to include. We use these to respond to you and resolve issues. This supports our legitimate interests in providing customer support and maintaining appropriate records; where an enquiry concerns an order, it also supports performance of that contract.
  • Security and operation: technical information such as IP addresses, browser/device information, access logs and relevant account or transaction events. Our legitimate interests are keeping the service reliable, preventing misuse and investigating security or transaction problems.
  • Legal and accounting records: order, payment, refund and related records are used to meet applicable accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
  • Optional marketing: where we ask you to opt in, we use the contact details and choices you provide for that purpose on the basis of consent. You can withdraw that consent by using the unsubscribe option or contacting us. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop essential order or service messages.

Payments and service providers

We use WordPress and WooCommerce for the website and ERPNext for business administration. Relevant information may be handled by providers supporting hosting, email, payment processing, delivery and our agreed services, and by authorised staff who need it for their work. We share the information needed for the relevant purpose, rather than making customer records public. We may also disclose records where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Card and supported wallet payments are processed through Stripe. Payment details you submit to the payment provider are handled under its own privacy information; our business records include payment status and transaction references. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy. A bank, wallet provider or delivery provider may also process information under its own privacy notice.

International processing

Stripe and Google operate internationally and may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Stripe describes its use of recognised adequacy arrangements and EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its international data transfer information. Google describes its applicable adequacy frameworks and contractual safeguards in its data transfer information. These safeguards relate to the relevant provider and service; they do not mean that all processing takes place in Ireland. Contact us at info@luniro.ie to request further information or copies of applicable safeguards for your data.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose of the record. Account information is retained while needed to provide the account and related services. Order, invoice, payment and refund records may need to be retained after an account closes to satisfy accounting, tax and legal requirements. Enquiries and service records are retained for the period needed to handle the matter, provide the service and deal with relevant complaints or claims. Security records are retained according to their operational and investigation purpose. Where a fixed period is not appropriate, we consider whether the purpose is still active, any applicable legal retention period and the need to resolve an outstanding issue. You can ask us about the retention period applying to a particular record.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses cookies and similar browser storage to support functions such as login, shopping baskets, checkout, security and remembering your language choice. Blocking these in your browser may prevent those functions from working. Payment providers may use technologies needed for payment security and fraud prevention.

With your marketing-cookie consent, Google Ads tags can measure visits and purchases associated with our advertising and support advertising personalisation. Information may include cookie identifiers, device and browser information and interactions with the site. See how Google uses information from partner sites. You can accept, reject or customise optional cookies in the banner, and reopen at any time to change your choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent shopping. Reading this notice, creating an account or placing an order does not by itself constitute consent to optional tracking or marketing. Your browser also lets you review and remove stored cookies; removing them may sign you out or reset your basket and preferences.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the circumstances, you have rights to access your personal information, correct it, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions; for example, an erasure request does not necessarily require us to delete records we must keep by law.

Send a request to info@luniro.ie. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your relevant supervisory authority.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services or data-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the current version. You can contact us with any questions about how your information is used.
